Seriously, I’ve never said this before. I love my dentist. It’s a great reminder to me of the importance and impact of loving your work. I think my dentist and his office manager love what they do. When you love what you do, it shows.
I chipped a tooth this week. I had to get a crown a few months ago, for the first time in my life, so this chip on a different tooth scared me. Will I really need a second crown so soon? They helped me figure out the best treatment, discussing options and costs. We decided to try a filling first, and see if it holds before going for the more expensive option. I’m very pleased with the results.
I think I was told at some point that Dr. Chau’s first career was engineering. He is an artist of dentistry. Meticulous and precise, he obviously loves doing a good job. Jim, the office manager, is also a gem. He has a fun sense of humor, and answers any questions you might hesitate asking the dentist.

In case you’re suspicious (I do come across a little too enthusiastically sometimes), this is a completely unsolicited recommendation. I appreciate encountering people who obviously love what they do. I like telling the world when I’ve found something I’m happy about–especially when I’m pleased with someone’s work.
